During the absence I describe in a previous post I have also been out of touch with the news. I recall from before I dropped out of touch that the U.S. House of Representatives voted, quite correctly, to rescind Obamacare. At the time, however, I wrote that I disagreed with the approach of attempting to rescind that bill without a bill to replace Obamacare that would actually fix the U.S. healthcare system. Republicans claimed they would work on a bill to replace Obamacare after voting to rescind.
I wrote that We the People could not believe that Republicans wanted to fix healthcare (vs just defeat Obama) if they did not provide an alternative solution. After all, how hard could it be to create legislation better than the Obamacare mess?
Certainly by now they have that bill. I have searched, but have not found this bill. Could one of you, dear readers, provide me with the link to the Republican health care bill that is before the House and intended to replace Obamacare?
Note: The above post may be sarcastic.
