“Of course you’ll be able to keep your existing health insurance policy if that is what you want,” said Obama. What he didn’t say, but meant was, “Though why you would want your existing policy when I am done with it, I have no idea.” Obama told his supporters he would close Guantánamo, but that hasn’t happened, and his support for the ‘right war’ in Afghanistan is good but not great – see the rules constraining our victory there. His support of gays and the environment has both groups upset and his management ability over the spill in the Gulf of Mexico angered even his closest supporters (BTW, scientist have found all that oil the feds said had, “Disappeared”). This list of Obama’s lies or incomplete truths could go on much longer, but unless you’re still blinded by those beautiful pectoral muscles, you get my point.
President Change is a typical politician and nothing more. He said what he needed to say to get elected and now he is doing what he has to do to insure his reelection. We the People could be damned.
His religion is politics. Power. Not Islam and not Christianity. Politics and all the power that comes to those political.
Politics is the religion Obama shares with most of his party and the Republican party. It is the faith in their view, the inalienable rightness of their view over the views of others. They know that they have the knowledge; that they are all knowing and that people will be better off, the whole nation will be better off, if everyone just goes along with their approach to ruling, to spending our money they way they see fit, and determining how our private lives will better meet God’s commandments if we go along their path. If we follow them.
It is the definition of the successful members of both parties. It is a symptom of our nation dividing itself into a political class and a citizen class. The citizen class pays little attention to the issues, perhaps learning what they can from ultra left members of the mainstream media like the New York Times, or the ultra right cable and radio talk shows like Hannity and Limbaugh. Rarely do we find people willing to spend time on both. So the political class rules by playing We the People for fools. Not bad work if you can get it.
So now President Obama finds himself again explaining that he is a Christian, not a Muslim. And his supporters are dumbfounded; “Could a Muslim have such a beautiful smile?” They ask. “Could a Muslim’s children be so adorable, his wife so chic?” “Of course not,” they say, “So why are people still asking the question?” They are confused.
Please allow me to help Obama supporters understand. Let me explain why a man with a Muslim name and Muslim family history, but who claims his religion is Christianity, should be doubted. And, by the way, I will also explain why, as a nation at war with Muslim extremists, we care about our president’s real religious beliefs.
Answer: We don’t trust the man because trust is something that a person earns. President Obama has not earned it. President Obama has earned his place in the political class as just one more sleazy politician who will do anything to get elected and then reelected.
He has not earned our trust.

Dealing with politics is necessary to get things done. It’s certainly valid to question whether Obama, or any politician, has worried to much about getting re-elected and not had the courage to keep committments, but he doesn’t govern in a vacuum, and wining one issue can result in losing another. It’s not fair to say that he, or any politician, doesn’t care about the American people or that his god is power.
“It’s not fair to say that he, or any politician, doesn’t care about the American people or that his god is power.”

politicians don’t care about anything but increasing their political power and bank account
