Snookie has come out in opposition to the Obama tax on tanning salons, according to Politico. Snookie, I am told, is a big deal on the television show Jersey Shore. I have not found any information on Snookie’s education; nothing that would indicate her ability to understand economics, government, or politics. Despite this lack of information I am willing to bet that Snookie’s opposition carries more impact among young voters than that of any expert on the subject. Such is the state of our star crazed culture.
