Yes, it is time for a third party!

I have read and heard a lot from pundits and political marketers lately about the dangers of voting for third party candidates; i.e., the Tea Party movement.  The logic is that we have to do everything possible to get the Democrats out of office.

Fair enough. Or not.

Without a viable third party, (and no, I do not mean a third party with Sarah Palin on the ticket) who do we replace the Democrats with?  Republicans(?)—because they have done so much to cut taxes and government and build a culture of self-reliance and accomplishment when they’ve been in power?

Now is exactly the time for a third party.  A party based on principles of freedom, education, self-reliance, accomplishment, charity by choice, not by government, and government that Minds its Own Damn Business.

Yes, it is time for a third party!

According to Dr. Bill Bennett, third parties never work–they simply rob the potential of any good candidates that are put forward and divide the vote. I don’t know of a third party candidate that has run successfully…except Jesse Ventura, if you can call THAT a success! Hopefully, Sarah Palin does not have aspirations for the presidency, however she does resonate the passions and the culture of most people who love America!

Check your history Judi Rogers! The Republican party was a “third” party, which was victorious on its second attempt. Gen. John Fremont was the first GOP candidate in 1856 , running on an anti-slavery platform.
