I understand some of the Palin mystique; she’s reality compared to Obama’s empty intellectualism. She states our concerns in the basic English worthy of fundamental concepts; we are not going to sit back and just let him change the fundamentals of our nation, and we must stop spending our children’s future. All good.
But folks, our nation needs a leader with the intellectual and persuasive skills to convince large segments of American society that adherence to the Constitution protects everybody, that our economy is not at all a fixed pie but expansive, and that expansion is what creates opportunities for the poor and the unemployed. Voters need to understand that stifling growth creates poverty and unemployment, and taxation stifles growth.
The challenge to the nation’s future will not be just about cleaning up the Democrat’s healthcare debacle and bringing down the deficit. The challenge will be to shift a large enough portion of the approximately half of the U.S. population away from their drive to vote themselves benefits through wealth redistribution.
We need a leader that can inspire people toward self reliance and accomplishment. The challenges to this nation are huge and the only way to solve our problems is to engage as many people as possible to contribute as opposed to take. We have to break the growing trend of taking by voting. We have to make people realize that taxing the other guy for what we want or taxing our children’s future for our current wants is an unsustainable model.
Tea Partiers, do you really believe that Palin has the intellectual power and persuasive ability to deliver this message? Does Sarah Palin possess the ability to win over the hearts and minds of a large enough number of voters that already despise her to be able to change the direction of the nation?
Answer: Not a chance. Palin may be just as polarizing as Obama. If she becomes president we’ll have another four, possibly eight, years of extreme political division. Like Obama, she might push through a few pieces of legislation but in doing so she will alienate her opponents creating powerful opposition to desperately needed changes.
Palin may thrill some of you, but she does not have what it takes to transform the U.S. back into a great nation. We the people need better.

I’ll take one junior collage dropout Conservative over 1000 Harvard educated, Community dis-Organizer, Intellectual frauds like Obama.
Having a great intellect, like Obama, without common sense and practicality, is like a car without gas….
It won’t get you very far and only takes you downhill….
We also need an effective executive. Outside all the politics of the Presidency is the need to lead the executive branch of government. I’d like to see a non-politician step into the ring. I know it really didn’t work with Perot but if someone of his business acumen and a bit more charisma was on the ballot, I’d finally feel some comfort casting my vote. With everyone we’ve had on offer for the past few cycles I felt I was just picking the lesser of two evils.
If it weren’t for the fact that most are skeptical of Mormonism, I would recommend Mitt Romney as an excellent choice of a president with business acumen and savvy to do the job….unlike Obama.
