Clinton berates Obama over U.S. settlements

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had harsh words for U.S. President Obama yesterday over his continued refusal to halt European descendants’ settlement construction throughout the 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and protectorates.

Critics of U.S. settlement expansion had hoped the recent economic troubles would halt European descendant settlement building.  While activity has dramatically slowed in 2010, U.S. housing starts are on track to exceed a half million new homes in territories that are considered European descendant occupied native lands.  These include all major and minor metropolitan areas, all small cities, towns, rural communities, farms, and remote outposts on the North American continent except Manhattan, which the settlers paid for.

Native American opposition to settlement expansion was largely eradicated through waves of European originated diseases and numerous battles and massacres pitting heavily armed, disease spreading European descendants against natives, beginning about the 15th century and continuing right up to the 20th century.  Among the nations of North America, only Canada has talked seriously about halting all new home construction in order to protect native lands, but to date the Canadian government has taken no formal action.  Mexico continues to battle native groups in its southern states.  Only the U.S. remains oblivious.

Never mind.  Satire alert! Just kidding. This is a satirical article. We’re only supposed to criticize Israel for its actions.  Everyone else is okay.

Israel’s survival depends on building a lasting peace with the Palestinians, and its survival as both a Jewish and democratic state depends on a two-state solution. There are practical as well as moral reasons to halt settlements.

Israel could clean out Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem if they really wanted to, but Israel is being pragmatic and calm about things.

If the Palestinians really wanted peace, they’d stop attacking Israel. Done.

The Palestinians will have the same revolution against their government as we are having here –
I’m sure they’re tired of the empty rhetoric their “politicians” give them. If they don’t then they’ll be crushed by Israel.

Anyone in the know, have a theory on why Plugs Biden went to Israel, while the Sec of State, HilBilly Clinton, whose job it is to deal with theses issues, was elsewhere….? Was it so he could embarrass himself, as usual?

COULD IT BE.. she refuses to side with the Pillistian murderers(Arafatspeak), ’cause there’s a run at Obama coming from Hilbilly starting in the summer, after her resignation? This should be good…He’ll be a MUZ-lim again with no birth certificate…hehe…
Just sayin’…

There’s no rational reason for Israel to be building new settlements in those territories.

The people settling there are mostly religious fanatics who want Israel to expand for reasons that you would surely disagree with. For example, because the Bible says it should be so.

Israel has plenty of land for its inhabitants without going to those contented areas.

The satire doesn’t work for me.

I should point out that I’m talking less about East Jerusalem and more about the territories.

OK…so this network is possibly biased….but look at the video under the “Body Language” playlist, May 21, 2009, at around the 3:20 mark. Look at Netanyahu vs. Obama; no fear from the Israeli PM.
