Paul, Henry, Collinswood, and me would love to take advantage of these IRS tax evasion services, but none of us have any marketable skills to make any real money in order to cheat.
We're working on hittin' up, our hero, MR Obama, for cash from his stash. That don't look good, though....
But I'll keep the number handy in my purse, just in case.

Hi Robert

Sadly, these types of services are real and I think that it is a slap in the face to taxpayers. My mother is a Revenue agent. and man, I could tell you all stories! The reason the IRS is willing to settle is because, despite what we see, the government is CHEAP!!!!! They make employees pay for water! WATER! Don't get me started on paper and supplies! They would rather settle with these people because it would be cheaper than paying the agents to actually press the cheaters harder and make them pay. I know that government workers get the rap of being lazy, but good IRS agents work practically 7 days a week, over 8 hours without getting paid just to keep up with their manager's demands. My mother is working as I speak and it is almost 9pm. My mother often gets upset because she believes it's unfair that cheaters get such a slap on the wrist while we taxpayers pay up the nose! And yes, IRS agents are angry about the current tax laws and are pro-flat tax too despite with the majority people think! People forget they are taxpayers, too!

The same could be said of all government "incentives," like the $8,000 mortgage break. But in the case of taxes, I guess they figure 1/8 of a loaf is better than nothing or the cost of imprisonment and lost future taxes.
