Fooled You!
No, of course the UN was quiet regarding the recent violence and Egypt’s blocking of aid and efforts to prevent tunneling. The New York Times reports that, “The demonstration, organized by Hamas, protested Egypt’s refusal to allow international aid and solidarity missions into Gaza as well as Egypt’s construction of an underground barrier to obstruct smuggler tunnels. Those tunnels supply both goods and arms to Hamas and Gaza.”
I guess these actions against Palestinians in Gaza are only wrong when committed by those evil Jewish Zionist Israelis. Or, maybe actions against Gaza are right when committed by Egypt and by Israel.
U.S. out of the UN and UN out of the U.S. A.

Come on Robert, you didn’t fool US….We that pay attention know the UN is beyond corrupt and way beyond hope. It is, and has been for a long time, just a platform for leftists dictators, totalitarians, and Obama to spew anti American/Israeli rhetoric.
Egypt is doing the Lords work…Allah Akbar!!!
Gaza Gazette Dec 31, 2009-Palestine
We will eventually rid the area of Jews so we can extend the Gaza Strip all the way to the Jordan River. We will, have no jobs, no economy, no friends, no food, no laws, no nothing…But THERE WILL BE NO JEWS…Thanks God..Praise to Allah…
Oh and God is Great!!
Actually, they haven’t been quiet about it. The Human rights commission had some bad things to say about Egypt (and the US) regarding the Gaza blockade:

Palestinian sources are usually slightly less than accurate, but this doesn’t look like a fabrication.
When I blog, I usually have this good rule-of-thumb:
Google First, Write Later.
The GFWL principle lowers the chances that you might embarrass yourself.
You have to be kidding?
In this link, he blames the U.S. and calls for sanctions on Israel. There is no similar call for sanctions on Egypt, no call for universities to boycott Egyptian scholars at the world’s universities, as with Israel, no demands for the UN to do anything about Egypt, as with Israel. There are no threats against companies that do business with Egypt nor exclusions of Egyptian teams from international competition as with Israel, not even any harsh words against Egypt as you claim.
Are your trying to draw attention to the site you link to? If yes, fine!
Your response proves my point. Readers, please view the link included and add your thoughts.
Folks, the path to peace between Israel and Palestinians is the same path as the path toward liberation of Palestinians: Palestinians need to pursue peace with the same ferocity for which they have pursued war and terror. They need to want a future for their children and end the use of their children by terror groups as fodder in their insane war that is anti-Jew, anti-Christian, anti-western, and anti-Islam.
There are too many good people on both sides for lives to be wasted. Peace.
True. This is biased. But at least we have *some* reference of the Egyptian blockade. Meager reference is better than none.
I tend to agree with most of what you say. One can only wait and see what happens now with the deportation of the relief convoy by Egypt.
In spite of what peace loving people everywhere may naively hope for, nothing will ever change in Israel unless one side thoroughly defeats the other .
Until that happens, there will always be rocket attacks from the “pillistinians” (arafatspeak) and incursions into Gaza from Israel to try and surgically remove “insurgents” hiding among civilians. But nothing permanent or long lasting is ever accomplished, only continued hostilities and tragedy.
Unfortunately, for the Israelis, they have become victims of their own domestic brand of “political correctness”, dictated to them by “world” opinion out of the anti-Semitic European Union.
So the cycle of stupidity and violence will continue endlessly and Egyptian meddling only prolongs the current agony.
Well, one side has already throughly defeated the other, and more than once. The Palestinians throughly lost in 1936-1939, and then in the civil-war-turned-full-fledged-conflict in 1947-1949, and then in 1957, and then again in 1967, and then again in 1986-1990, and then again in 2001-2003.
Ben Ami, the former Israeli minister of interior defense once claimed that the problem with the Palestinians was that they have a completely negative narrative, one of defeats only, which is not very healthy.
But it’s not real “defeat” if your enemy continues hostilities and is supported by a varity of fellow fascists, whose only goal is Israeli demise.
All the past wars were only warm-ups for the next one. So, the concept of defeat has not yet entered their warped minds. They know that, if when they run away, they live to fight another day…..In other words, they are not defeated, only humiliated, leading to a repeat sometime in the future.
Sometimes the madness and hatred roots run so deep, the only logical path is to start over. Sort of a socially engineered mulligan.
The UN is such a magnanimous organization, it can arrange for relocation of all the Palestinians who want to leave and start over elsewhere in the world . I’m sure all enlightened European and Arab countries, who make most of the noise, would take a share of these oppressed refugees. Any one staying behind in Gaza would be considered a combatant and can surrender or die for their cause.
This is the only hope for the Palestinian children who by age 5 are already down the path of hatred. To do or think otherwise is cruel and naive.
