Hey, that crisis stuff is fun! Let’s do it again!

And so it goes as 2009 rolls into 2010. Bloomberg’s David Reilly reports that Barney Frank’s pet bill to reform our financial system, HR 4173, guarantees, “$4 trillion in emergency funding the next time Wall Street crashes.” But that’s not all…….

The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act is supposed to kill the Office of Thrift Supervision but what it is really doing is rolling that agency into the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. That’s good because I wouldn’t want any of our hard working and valuable bureaucrats to have to face the same layoffs that I face as of midnight tonight.

That last statement was purely satirical, albeit a bad effort at satire.

I am out of work as of 01/01/10, but Barney Frank has a job and so do all of those people that helped write this monstrosity and the financial stimulus and bank bailouts and GM bailout, all enormous spending that is alleged by Democrats to be helping the economy. I bet there is not a dime to help people learn about personal finance in order to enable the citizenry toward greater self-reliance. Not Frank’s style. Self-reliance is not in the Democrat’s platform nor the Republican’s actions.

Happy New Year.

Ghost of Ronald Reagan December 31, 2009 at 10:23 pm

There is no honor among thieving politicans. A young American mind is a terrible thing we wasted, and there’s a suckers born now every second…so it seems..

How else can you explain how easy it has been for a seemingly long line of political/academic/scientific/ media hucksters, to fool the rubes (voters) into going along with destruction of our health care/bail-outs/pay-offs to unions, poor to non-existent public education, fraudulent climate change info, and a dense, dim-witted, compliant bunch of reporters, not interested in the truth, only spewing the democrat party line ad nauseum.

Washington democrats, are constantly pushing their “redistribution schemes”, disguised as programs necessary for the good of the economy and America in general.

But in reality, they are bail-outs and pay-offs to the major democrat constituency groups, unions of all stripes but especially teachers and auto workers, trial lawyers, environmental fraudsters, and major universities just to name a few.

The more ignorant and mis-informed the sorry public school students remain, the easier it is for the hucksters in Washington, like “Banking Queen” Barney Frank , Chris “The Dud” Dodd and the biggest demogague of all, the smiling empty suit, Barak “Millhouse” Obama to pull the wool over the eyes of the voting “sheepol”.
