Snowe’s meaningful words; “When history calls, history calls”

Republican Senator Olympia Snowe has been the center of the health care debate for months. Opponents of the Senate’s health care proposal hoped that as a Republican she would oppose government expansion and tax increases. Supporters hoped that as a moderate she would respond to the struggles of the uninsured and under insured.

Last week Snowe voted in favor of the Senate Finance committee bill, and in words repeated throughout the nation, said, “When history calls, history calls.”

Last week I learned that I will be laid off from my job at the end of this year. I suspect that Senator Snowe will have an opening on her staff as soon as she realizes just how meaningless that phrase, “When history calls, history calls,” was to anybody not enamored of ObamaCare.

If you know the Senator from Maine, would you send her this link? My contact info is in the About section. Thank you.
