So, when does Obama meet Republicans on health care?

During President Obama’s speech last night he told the joint session of Congress that he is willing to consider all good ideas. He added that his door is always open. Fine.

I want the White House to arrange that meeting – the President has to make the invitation if the meeting will take place. I want to know when that meeting is scheduled and I want to see what the Republicans take to that meeting. Will President Obama really be open to Republican ideas? Will Republicans bring well thought out, detailed, viable ideas or just vague concepts and objections?

Also, last night the President said that U.S. president’s have been trying to reform health care for 100 years. He intended the comment to mean that we need get this done already. I took the comment to mean that after 100 years of banging their heads against a brick wall maybe it is time to realize that they have the wrong approach. Just a thought.
