I have often been critical of President Obama’s failure to focus his powerful rhetorical ability first and foremost to encourage education. Tonight at the NAACP meeting, he encouraged education in a tremendous speech. I salute him.

According to CNN the President urged families to help children with their homework, to put away the Xbox and encourage them to be more than “ballers and rappers.”

The President told his audience, “When it comes to education, we need better standards in our schools, excellent teachers in our classrooms, and parents doing their part to ensure that all our children can succeed, no matter what their race, faith or station in life.”

Mr. President, more of the same talk, with all of your audiences, no matter what their race, faith or station in life.
