Michael Jackson, Farrah, Thank You! … from Governor Mark Sanford, South Carolina

My editor pointed out last night that embattled South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford should use the current all Michael all the time news frenzy to quietly resign. He could turn in his resignation today and disappear from the public’s view with barely any notice. This is an incredible opportunity and he should take it.

My editor also pointed out how poetic it is that professional sidekick Ed McMahon would himself go out on the coattails of two greater stars.

Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of all three entertainers.

We feel that Michael Jackson has left us so early, with just his music and our memories. Our prayers go out to his family. I love you so much, and never got the chance to go to a concert. I honestly think you

As with many things lately, Jackson’s death completely overwhelmed the, uh,media. Not only should Sanford be happy, but so should the assclowns in Congress for passing a law that no one has read – and it WILL contain some smoking guns once it gets studied properly.

Prayers to Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon also….

Brett:
It’s just so easy to bash “the media.” Well I got some news for you: You are the eyes of the media. What you talk about, think about and are interested in is what the media obsesses about. While you complain that the stupid media is concentrating on MJ you go around being part of the buzz by posting about him too. Point the finger at yourself.
