Republicans Say Yes on Sotomayor; Move On

As Republicans appear to be more divided and even confused over how to fight the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, many traditional Republican supporters such as Charles Krauthammer and Peggy Noonan are urging Republicans to make their statement against judicial activism then approve her.

This is a fight Republicans can’t win. The only question is; just how badly can they lose? A wise decision would be to do just as Krauthammer and Noonan suggest and approve her. I wish to add that they should do it all quickly, save some time, and use that time to figure out what, if anything, they actually stand for as a party.

May I suggest Republicans read the Principles of Mind Your Own Damn Business Politics for suggestions?
