One of our favourite Blizzard games, Overwatch has of course been showcased at the event, with developer Jeff Kaplan telling players they can expect the addition of new hero Moira in the near future. This makes it the fifth new character that has been put in Overwatch, alongside Sombra, Anna, Orisa, and Doomfist.
Slinking into the shadows, the public believed her to have retired, but Moira would continue on with her work, creating weapons and technologies for Blackwatch whilst keeping her employment there a secret.
BlizzCon 2017 brought tons of pleasant surprises for Overwatch fans.
The official Overwatch website also lists her background story for those that are interested in it. Moira can also charge her Coalescence ability to simultaneously rescue multiple teammates from elimination or finish off weakened opponents.
Biotic Orb - Moira launches a rebounding biotic sphere; she can choose between a regeneration effect that heals the allies it passes through, or a decay effect that deals damage to enemies.
She's got to balance these, though: using the healing attack, she expends energy, which is then replenished with her damaging attack, which also heals Moira.
Next we have the Bionic Orb, which like Zenyatta's orbs can either heal enemies or damage them depending on which variant she throws into the fight.
Fade is a fairly simple ability that sees Moira teleport a short distance. Her name is Moira and she is the latest support class hero for the popular FPS game.
There's no telling when Moira will be released, but hopefully when she does she'll be really fun to play. She looks like a bit of an all-rounder.
