Sixers point guard Markelle Fultz has had a tough start figuring out how to stay healthy and on the court.

Fultz visited several specialists and there is no structural damage in the shoulder.

The troubling aspect for Sixers fans is how often they've seen their No. 1 overall picks miss time due to injury. "Fultz will be reevaluated by Dr. Kibler in approximately three weeks".

The report also stated that Fultz had to have a cortisone shot in his shoulder back on October 5, suggesting the problem has been there for a while.

Fultz's shoulder has bothered him all season and the Sixers said last week he would only miss three games.

There is an open debate as to whether Fultz changed his shot because he was hurt or the changes he made in his shot caused the injury.

But his play has suffered and he averaged just six points and 2.3 rebounds in four games, before missing Philadelphia's last two. There did appear to be a hitch in his shot during preseason games, but Fultz has never been a spectacular shooter.

Hopefully, Fultz can return back to his best, but he should take as much rest as he needs.

The 76ers traded with the Boston Celtics to get the overall No. 1 pick and draft Fultz.
