"Ronda Rousey gets married (Saturday)", White said during an appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show". Browne, 34, reportedly popped the question under a waterfall because he felt that it is the right place to do it, NY Daily News reported. If Rousey and Browne wanted a low key affair with minimal attention then they may be set to pull off a masterstroke. "Tomorrow is her wedding", White said on the show.
White won't be in attendance to Rousey's wedding, since he will be in Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor bout Saturday night.
He added that although Rousey is very happy to finally Wednesday, she has not announced any retirement plans yet. She has not announced whether or not she will be returning to the UFC and according to White, Rousey has been exclusively focused on her upcoming nuptials.
Rousey said during an interview on "Live with Kelly & Ryan" that Browne proposed to her in New Zealand. A third-party probe was launched by UFC and the fighter was cleared.
The UFC president also revealed that Rousey is in a good place and is happy with the way things are now.
Rousey was the biggest name in the sport until she suffered a brutal, knockout loss to Holly Holm in November 2015.
Rousey has been relatively quiet since her last fight at UFC 207 in December 2016. "She's focusing on this wedding".
Ronda has been taking some time away from mixed martial arts and from the spotlight since losing her final title shot to current champion Amanda Nunes.
