The smartphone is now listed on Amazon's website for registrations or pre-booking, while the same will be going on sale in India starting 1st September.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity flaunts 5.7-inch HD display with pixel resolution 740 X 1440 at the great ratio 18: 9 which is popularized by South Korean giants LG and Samsung. The device features compact body and has a screen to body ratio of 83 per cent. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through MicroSD card. The unit has been blessed with an aperture of f/2.0, 5P lens, and selfie flash.

The phone's connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and OTG support (up to 64GB). The Canvas Infinity is the company's biggest gamble till date and is a complete departure from what they've launched before.

2017 is about large displays but not so large phone bodies and that has been possible due to the wider displays offered by the companies.

Micromax, the Indian smartphone maker has launched a new smartphone under its Canvas line called the Canvas Infinity. The camera app also offers auto-HDR modes for both the front and the rear camera.


During the launching event, Micromax has announced a 24-hour service with a promise to fix or replace the device in a stipulated time frame.

In terms of specifications, "Canvas Infinity" sports 5.7-inch screen, 13MP primary camera and 16MP selfie camera with "real time bokeh" effect.

Micromax joins the Infinity display bandwagon with the Micromax Canvas Infinity and brings the 18:9 display technology to sub Rs. 10,000 price point.
