WatchOS 4 Revealed: Dynamic Apple Watch Faces, Workout App, etc.

The company has now announced the updates to Apple TV and introduced watchOS 4 Operating Systems.

Apple chose to forego updating music features and instead will roll out a brand-new Music app in WatchOS 4.

This isn't quite the glucose monitoring Watch Tim Cook is reportedly test driving around Apple HQ (more on that in a sec), but it could make the Apple Watch more useful, especially in the gym.

The watch face will refresh whenever users raise their wrist throughout the day and enable users to flip through cards serving up different pieces of information.

Apple Watch can also read gym machines' workout data from Life Fitness, Cybex, Matric, TechnoGym, Schwinn, and others.

Apple has also prepped an updated Workout experience in watchOS 4. The Music app also starts automatically with a workout and there are several other options that you can control like swiping left during the workout to control your music. It debuted at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2017.

iOS 11's features will be improved slightly, with iMessages synchronizing with other devices and saving space by uploading old photos to the Apple Cloud.

Native sleep tracking software has so far been missing on the Apple Watch range, despite its popularity among rival devices. All Watches will be eligible to release the operating system for free once it is released in the fall. There is also a Activity coaching, GymKit for Apple Watch to communicate with Gym equipments and a new music experince. It is available in developer preview from today and will be coming to all users this autumn. You can also do multiple workouts in a single session, like triathletes do. The more cosmetic changes involve watch faces with complications of their own, a Siri-powered watch face that displays information from your calendar and apps intelligently, and a set of new Toy Story Disney animations.

One of the things Apple is updating is the watch face. "You can rotate the crown and get this kind of trippy effect", said Lynch.

The Apple Watch might still feel like a new product, but we're already on the fourth version of the OS.

The user can also ask Siri about the musicians playing the current song and even tell her "Hey Siri, I like this song" to record the user's tastes, mood, and preferred genres.
