Spurs prepare for White Hart Lane farewell

Tottenham have been the only club who managed to challenge Chelsea for the title this season but that ended after their 1-0 loss to West Ham.

Since Wembley reopened in 2007, Spurs have won twice in 10 visits and have lost two League Cup finals, three FA Cup semis and two of this season's three Champions League group games.

Despite the Europa League a priority for Mourinho, that does not mean his players will not give their 100 percent today.

19 - Spurs have gone unbeaten at home for the first time in a league season since 1964/65 (W17 D2 L0 this season).

Pochettino added: "But next season, there's no excuse".

"If I feel there is something to take home to my house I will, but not my manager's seat - if I do I will have a big problem with my wife", Pochettino said.

"Yes, we created a very special feeling between each other and we felt a unit". Maybe we are a little bit at a disadvantage.

"In the Premier League, we can only finish fifth or sixth, I think". Eric Bailly is now available to start, given that the Ivorian is suspended for the Europa League final.

The bulldozers will move in to demolish White Hart Lane on Monday after 118 years of it being Tottenham's home.

It will feature former players, along with the current First Team and coaching staff and players from within the Club's Academy, as well as musical performances.

Asked whether the Ajax match was now pivotal in determining this season as a success or failure, the Portuguese said: "I think by you, by you media, you have the right to say (that)".

If the delays were only for the early part of the season then Spurs could request for fixtures early in the season to be played away from home, as Liverpool did this season as they waited for completion of their new Main Stand at Anfield. Kane has proven to be one of the league's most prolific marksman and United's defence will be in for a tough time. Instead of joining the sentimental masses, we're choosing to focus on the tactics of the match itself. Marouane Fellaini will also miss out as he continues to serve his domestic ban. Despite his omission from the midfield, Dier has made 43 appearances in all competitions mainly playing as a third centre-back in Pochettino's new 3-4-2-1 formation. Tottenham Hotspur will be without Erik Lamela and Harry Winks, plus Danny Rose is still far from certain to be fit enough to play as he works his way back from a knee injury.
