The Galaxy S8 gets a 3,000mAh battery whereas the Galaxy S8+ offers a 3,500mAh battery. According to experts, Samsung specifically developed deep red display panels for the Galaxy S8 to avoid the potential color balance problem of too much green.
Apart from the reddish tint issue, Samsung's new Galaxy S8 is facing complaints from global consumers about the use of its Bixby button being limited only to the operation of voice assistant Bixby.
Two versions of the Galaxy S8, code-named Dream internally, were launched at a media event in NY on March 29, with 6.2-inch (15.75 cm) and 5.8-inch curved screens - the largest to date for Samsung's premium smartphones. Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus made its debut globally in the United States last month. With screens of 5.8 inch and 6.2 inches, Samsung S8 and S8 Plus is the flagship phone of Samsung and a successor to the S7.
According to iFixit, the only positive thing about the phone's hardware and components is that most of it seems to be modular, so you can replace them independently as opposed to having to replace an entire group.
Now talking about the specifications of the phones, both of them are very similar. These are bezel-less displays sporting a resolution of 2961x1440 pixels, along with the 18:9 aspect ratio. There is also 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card upto 256GB. On the front, the phones include an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus. With a dedicated button on the side of the phone, users will be able to ask Bixby to perform any task, from placing calls to recommending restaurants nearby to changing the device's settings. They come with a radical bezel-less design with an "Infinity display" that covers nearly the entire front panel of the device. With that said, we would like to know what do you think about these smartphones.
