Whatever he asks for, that's what they gotta give him for that fight to even happen. "Conor and Floyd [both] want it".

White said he will meet with McGregor, UFC's biggest box office attraction, in NY soon after the fighter's girlfriend gives birth to their first child in May. He's stepped up for big fights for this company, and for me and for [former UFC CEO] Lorenzo [Fertitta]. "And that's absolutely a possibility when you make the kind of money he could make".

With so much money involved in what is expected to be the highest grossing boxing match in history, you can expect the McGregor and Mayweather camps to take their time in sorting out the finances of this fight.

The 47-year-old rubbished those claims, insisting that he's trying his hardest to get the best deal for The Notorious and that he and McGregor are on good terms.

Jeff Mayweather was quick to respond, and thinks White may have misinterpreted what he was saying. "After Conor has his baby, Conor and I are gonna meet in NY and then we'll go from there", he said. Are you the spokesmen now for Team Mayweather? F*** you too. What do they know about this fight.

"After Conor has his baby, we're going to meet in NY, and then, we'll go from there", White said. White intends to stick up for McGregor to make sure the UFC lightweight champion gets his worth.

"Conor is having a baby. any day now".

The Irishman admitted Mayweather is an extremely accomplished boxer and praised McGregor for taking up the challenge.

Talk of the McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) vs. Mayweather (49-0 boxing) matchup - previously thought to be downright laughable - has gained plenty traction over the past few months.

Joe Rogan interviews Conor McGregor during the weigh-ins for Saturday's UFC 189 mixed martial arts bouts on July 10, 2015 in Las Vegas.

"I'm talking about the UFC with Conor McGregor [80/20 split] because Floyd's money is guaranteed".

"Mayweather's team would have to deal with [their broadcaster] Showtime", White confirmed.

'This is just sport now and like I said, we grew up hearing you can't do that you can't do this and all the great challenges that Conor's risen to, this is just another one of those. "Because I know all the talk of A-side, B-side and all this stuff", he continued.
