William and Kate shrug off Paris terror with 'offensive de charme'

As always, the Duchess looked elegant as she selected a mix of her favourite designers - from British and French to American.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are today going about their planned schedule in Paris despite a shooting at the city's Orly airport.

Prince William, 34, who is colonel of the Irish Guards, and Princess Kate, 35, visited the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at their base and later joined officers and their families for a pint of Guinness.

Kate traded her British design run (of Catherine Walker, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham) from the previous day to show some love to France in a Chanel coatdress. She's worn the designer on countless royal occasions, including after giving birth to Princess Charlotte in 2015, while posing for photographers on the steps of St. Mary's hospital in London.

The mother-of-two paid an apt tribute to France by wearing two of its legacy brands, Chanel - for her dress, handbag and belt - and Cartier jewelry; and she teamed the French luxury labels with a pair of her favorite Tod's fringed leather pumps.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton visited the French capital on Friday, in a diplomatic move that analysts believe is meant to soften a divorce between Britain and the European Union.

The duchess swapped her Chanel dress for a red Carolina Herrera coat.

Kate Middleton's perfectly styled tresses were tousled while performing a drill with French rugby fans at the Trocadero square on day two of her official visit to Paris with Prince William. The Royals met with the French president while touring the French capital.

After that stop, they continued to the Trocadéro, where they met with a group of young people from France and the U.K.at a "Neighbors in Action" event, and also managed to squeeze in a Wales vs. France rugby match.
